In San Francisco, we do not call this a “trolley car.” It is a famous San Francisco “Cable Car.” For many years, cable cars were used as a form of transportation. In recent years, cable cars have become tourist attractions. They are most often much too crowded for locals to rely on them for transportation needs.

Thank you for the information! I know that Cable Car in San Francisco is very famous. But the name seems to depend on the area. By the way, Keeburu kaa (ケーブルカー, cable car) means the one which is on a cable and carries people from the bottom to the top of a mountain. ;)
