★ A Shameless Plug - Music! Music! Music! ★

So…
This is my first blog entry here on JapanesePod101.com. And I’ll be honest, I ain’t the bloggin’ type. I can hardly find enough free time to keep up my joke of a Mixi 日記, let alone consistently do it here too. (My Japanese teacher recommended I keep a Japanese diary to practice, so that’s the motivation behind the Mixi page.)

Because I do read the blogs here, I will try to make my myself heard around here from time to time. But primarily I’m a lurker. lol.

Anyhoo, as promised, this is a shameless plug.

FIRST,
IT’S J-POP TIME!

I did some guest vox on the next BOA single.
Her next single features a remix by my boy Army Slick and is ready to be released in May!

I’d love to post a clip for you to hear in advance, but I don’t want the suits from Avex coming to my house and threatening to send their lawyer to ask me not to do it again.

IT’S PARTY TIME!

I will be DJ’ing at Module in Shibuya on Friday, 13th.
This is my monthly party.
The music is Tech-House and Electro-House.
The vibe is deep and groove.

    Hey there,

    I just started listening to jp101 and decided to wander over the the blog. BTW, I love BOA. I think they did the theme song to Serial Experiment Lain. One of my all time favourite anime.

    I’m going to be visiting Tokyo in July, and finding gigs while i’m there would be great. I’ll keep an eye on cluemodule but is there anything you can recommend?

    James, it depends on the type of music you’re into. I like Womb and Yellow if I’m going to big clubs. If I want to go to a smaller place, I usually choose Ever, Module and La Fabrique.

    For anyone who’s interested, keep checking Jpod and when I have events worth mentioning, I’ll try to post them up here!

    hello, can you send me an invitation to Mixi. I would like to practice what I know of Japanese. I’ve been listening to JapanesePod101 for about 9 months now, and I’m using a computer program also to learn more and more. Well, thanks, and your blog is pretty interesting :D . I blog everyday, but it’s just about what I do everyday here in TX, lol. See ya!!
