Justin Silvestre, a just-turned-fifteen U.S. based listener, used his remarkable artistic skills to breathe life into a JapanesePod101.com story. Justin-san created an audio anime learning tool based on our Brothers, Brothers series to enhance the community’s learning experience and turn his anime creation into a unique learning experience! An interview with the author Justin Silvestre:
JapanesePod101: How long have you been studying Japanese?
Justin Silvestre: I’ve been studying Japanese for a few years on my own, hoping to participate in a foreign exchange program in my junior year.
JapanesePod101: How did you find JapanesePod101.com?
Justin Silvestre: I stumbled upon JapanesePod101 while browsing through the iTunes Music Store.
JapanesePod101: Where did you get the idea for this?
Justin Silvestre: After listening to a few Podcasts and looking around the old site, I got the idea to e-mail Peter. You see, I’ve been drawing ever since I could hold a crayon, and at the moment, my creative spark had gone missing. So then I figured that the JPod crew could use my skills, and if I were to do some work for them, I could continue to exercise my artistic skills, and at the same time help out fellow Japanese students.
Thank you Justin! You work is truly amazing!

Neat idea. I really like the way the line by line audio was linked to the speech bubbles, which also had the kanji and furigana. Your drawing is excellent.
